Nahum Kozak

Nahum – whose name rhymes with Graham – has been a registered psychologist since 2010, and is currently completing his second Masters degree in Psychology. Nahum has a unique talent for helping people feel at ease, supporting them as they clarify their needs, and facilitating a collaborative way forward.

Nahum has a wealth of experience in private, educational, and corporate contexts. He was a school-based psychologist for many years, working as Head of Positive Education and Senior School Counsellor. He has also worked as a Counsellor and Relationship Educator (Centacare), a Corporate Coach, a Research Assistant (QUT) and a Youth Minister (in schools across Australia).

Nahum has been called on as a consultant psychologist nationally for Seven News and for Brisbane radio shows on 97.3FM, 4KQ and ABC Radio Brisbane. His research on wellbeing is published in the highly acclaimed International Journal of Social Psychiatry.

These days Nahum successfully juggles a professional portfolio that includes counselling, coaching, workplace mediation and speaking engagements – and a personal portfolio that includes being a husband and father of two.

Nahum has been referred to as being ‘a pair of safe hands’ to entrust with thorny workplace conflicts. Nahum’s clients express appreciation of his insights into organisational, team, and individual dynamics that lead to conflict – as well as for his warmth and sense of humour in breaking open the issues and assisting with resolutions. Nahum has delivered solid results to the satisfaction of both managers and the aggrieved parties seeking a restored relationship.
